I'm so glad I caught Gwynne's tweet about this party and tweeted right back at her that I wanted to go!
We were both stuck in the south - She in Florida, and me in Arkansas, tweeting about our hopes & dreams. We made it back and went to the New Year's Eve party at the Jane Hotel.

I've been hot to go to the Jane Hotel for 2 sexy reasons -
1. They brought the survivors of the Titanic here.
2. It's right by where my love Rachel Maddow lives.


I'm happy with how my look turned out.
This dress was purchased last Feb. when I still worked for PF. It's been hanging in the bag with the tags on it. My make-up boo who helps me at MAC gave me this glitter lip gloss. I'm AMAZED that I kept it in tact all night.

I was really scared of how I was going to get home. YOU CANNOT GET A CAB ON NEW YEAR'S EVE. So I did not want to get drunk and helpless later. I did good- I only feel like shit today because I stayed up til 4am.


I'm so in love with this bar area of the Jane. I can't wait to take Matt. There's all kinds of neat old-looking stuff and taxidermy.


I've not had many nights in New York of going out with straight girls. These 2 babes were great! Cute midnight kissers!

We went to Taco Bell, and I'm very proud that I didn't go fat-hell wild and eat something regrettable. God bless this Taco Bell/Pizza Hut.


I wasn't sure about this monochrome look - the pantyhose match the dress.

I'm also really happy that I didn't have to buy a new dress.

After Taco Bell, we ended up in a really embarrassingly giant limo. It was huge & fun and LOUD.


My sweet Baby Girl let me sleep until 11! When I go out, I usually bring my purse to sleep so I can text, read email and put myself to sleep looking at the photos on my camera.


2010 was a really special, great year and I have a sneaky feeling 2011 is going to be no less than utterly fantastic!

My Brown Self

I'm enjoying my brown-self. And I had a great hair day today.

I don't have ONE GIMPY Part of my body from that self-tanner. Great self-tan success! I slept in a drop-cloth, but I didn't really need it. Model Co "Tan in a Can" Is the SHIT! If you can find it. Neither Times Square Sephora had it - I had to get it at Bendel's.




I'm not wearing much make-up with this new super-tan, but that's OK because it covers my zits & veins.


I didn't have the balls to take a Bike_Wardrobe_Remix pic outside the front of Sotheby's, but I took a pic of my bike with this cool poster. I've got to make it to this exhibit this weekend despite my full social schedule.


My life is so hard sometimes! Ha ha ha!

MY outfit today was Summer-Fridays-Friday plain Jane. Just jeans and a black tank.

But I did put on a cardi and some heels at work. This was a day to mark on the calendar, because these jeans are size 27 (Citizens) and I did not have to do gymnastics to get them on.

Yesterday I wore this Billabong sundress from last summer with my wonderful "Summer of Cheap" Charlotte Russe wedges.


I ate some Twizzlers that matched the print.

The first day of my new job was very chill. Waking up before 7am has a tranquilizing effect on me. I answered the phone a little bit, tried on clothes a little bit, took photos of clothes for documentation purposes. It was overall, a very good work day.

It really sucks, you guys, that when I walk out of my work place, I literally spill out into a MILLION STORES FULL OF STUFF I WOULD LOVE TO BUY! Luckily, I was under-dressed for the cold-y, wet weather so I came STRAIGHT HOME. That's going to be the battle. I have to get RIGHT INTO the subway which is literally ten feet out the front door OR I can walk the 15 blocks to the bus stop and go to any store that I absolutely LOVE.

My life is really hard. I know.

Here's a Charlotte Russe dress. It's country-girl, cowgirl style. I think it was $21.99. Yes! I'm going to put a a cute belt on it and a cardigan.


This is a tank-top that I will need to layer because its' SHINY! It's from the Junior's section of JCPenney. Yes, The JC-Fucking-Penney! It's inside the Manhattan Mall. There aren't really Malls in NYC. All the stores are just barfed out all over the streets. Sometimes you want to feel like you're in NORMAL AMERICA and shop in a MALL. And use the public restroom so you can shop some more.

I drank a lot this past weekend. Lots of good training hours put in Friday & Saturday nights. Lots of Bud Light. Keeping it classy!
