My Boyfriend Jimmy

Dots Dress + Cowgirl Boots
Forever 21 dress, H&M Belt that Katy Perry also has, Dollhouse Cowgirl boots.

I decided these boots are too grubby-looking to wear to work, but they were A-OK! to wear to see my boyfriend Jimmy Fallon this morning!

I went to a kind-of strange TV show filming or webcast for the CBS Early Show today where Jimmy Fallon was their guest. I got dressed in a cute dress in case he asked me to spend the afternoon with him because you never know.

Here's my new haircut. My face is featuring I love you Jimmy Fallon MAC lipstick in Amplified!
Haircut Fresh
Pixie bangs. Ahhh... I would have preferred to keep more length on the back, but I also wanted to cure the extreme flip at the ends, but it's growing out either way.  -By growing my hair out, you should know shoulder length is long is my book.

I went to CBS Studios on the West Side. Biking over there was a breeze. Fast, pleasant temps, all that.
I paid $25 to go to this event BTW. They had a nice breakfast spread. They did a mini-studio/sound stage tour, then we were ushered into a sound stage where the CBS Early Show would be filmed. Jimmy came out and pretty much immediately took over from the host and hilariously and adorably talked, told stories, fixed bloody mary's and more.

I said "You've got to do more Yacht Rock stuff!" And I asked who he would play and he said Kenny Loggins. I didn't tell him he would have to pick someone else because that spot is taken.
Me and Jimmy Fallon
Worst self-photo I've ever done! But I captured me and Jimmy Fallon touching our foreheads together and that's what matters. It was a really special little event and I'm very glad I attended!

We got copies of the new Thank You notes book and he signed mine as he rattled off his phone number. Kidding!
Jimmy Fallon!

I was so happy! And I had the whole afternoon ahead of me and I devoted it to domesticity for the first time in ages.
I took a pic with Jimmy!

I forgot to mention that I put the Schwinn's old bell on the new Linus. Matt did it for me. I need LOUDNESS! That Linus bell was so crappy, you have no idea. It was like, worse than a Happy Meal toy.
90th St. bike lane hooked me up!
Yes- that's my New York Public Library card (on my keys.)

We rolled around on these streets seven days in a row! No sign of stopping!

Here's my history with going to a taping of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
The guest line-up was so bad that night none of my friends would leave work early to go with me. Today's event was better anyway!

Here's an old post about me failing in the stand-by line for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

And here I am two or three birthdays ago with Hollywood Steve, the host of Yacht Rock in a sweet Yacht Rock themed dress I made.

Jimmy Fallon Success!

This is all the evidence I've got. I went to a taping of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. After previously being unsuccessful at getting a stand-by ticket, I had an actual ticket Reservation.

Since his show came on, I've had Jimmy Fallon's ticket hotline in my phone. Sometimes when I'm bored, I'll dial it and see if they're taking ticket reservations. Back in August I had success! I booked 2 tickets for Rosh Hashanah because it's the first time in my whole life I had the Jewish New Year Holidays off from work.

I found out who the guests were last week and both of my potential dates bailed on me, because the guests weren't cool enough for them to get out of work early. I didn't even know if I would go myself, but I needed to see Jimmy, Higgins and The Roots. (Guests were Ali Larter, Mario Batali and Jerry Lee Lewis.)

Going to a Jimmy Fallon taping is more time consuming than a Letterman taping and Jimmy did not come out and address the audience before-hand like Letterman does. Jimmy was still just as precious as I thought he would be, and I still love him lots and am glad I went.

I also had an aisle seat and got a high-five when he runs through the audience at the end.

And I had a front door parking spot for the bicycle:

Jimmy Fallon - Bust!

I got up bright & early and took Bonnie to Rockefeller Center to try to get a stand-by ticket for Jimmy Fallon.
She's good for waiting in line. Or just waiting for anything in general.

We should have left much earlier because the weather was good & the stand-by line was kind-of long.

We got a little voucher that looks like this:

I had to come back at 3:45. Then at 3:45, they said "come back at 4" Then at 4... they said "Wait downstairs" Then I got a sack of candy at the NBC experience store and by the time I met up with all the stand-by waiting people someone was giving the announcement that there were ZERO Stand-By Tickets for today. Absolutely none of the stand-by people got in.

So sad! I used-up a whole day. It was too tiring to try again later this week. I'll watch him from home in HD I guess. Unless I can sign up waaay in advance, but I'll probably have a job then I won't want to use a day off for that.

The first thing I'm going to buy when I have some disposable income: A ticket to The Miracle Worker!
