I had really wild hair today because I wore a headband to the gym last night. I didn't fight it. I got a lot of co-worker commentary about head-band status. I think I'm going to let my hair grow for a few more weeks before I get a professional cut. I need cute stuff to poke out when I wear a beanie/hat.




It's so hard to get dressed on Wednesday. I have to be as casual as possible. I've also had that leather jacket for 9 years. Light jackets are still the way to go riding for these temps. Low 50's.

Tonight Matt asked if I wanted to go shoppin' so we went up to the East Harlem shopping extravaganza and fate put me face to face with RED converse at the right price. Feeling good about that! I love seeing cute girls on the street still baring their ankles. Bundled-up on the rest of their body, but ankles are nekkid and proud!

I work 4 SHORT BLOCKS from a Claire's Boutique. I LOVE Claire's Boutique. I wish they had more yellow gold these days but anyway. I STUDY the whole store. I look at every single item in every section.

I hit the cheap driving glove jackpot on Friday. These cuties were $8.50! I will probably go back and get the white ones. They say they are OSFA and they are just my size.



Riding my bike this fall when it's a little cool- Oh my god, these are going to be awesome!
It's SO HOT and MUGGY in New York City today - I CLEANED out apartment hardcore, so I wore a bikini top and shorts all day.


We were so hot & lazy it took everything we had to go pick up our laundry & get some soy milk for our coffee. At noon.

These leggings aren't special but they were CHEAP at Claire's. My legs are so bruised, I'm covering them the best I can until I recover.


This is my bike riding outfit. This dress was a TERRIBLE IDEA for bicycle riding. The banded hemline was not cool!

It was good, but as soon as I got to work I was starving and needed a Kashi bar.

Tonight when I got home I felt like running, so we ran all the way to Central Park and then around the Reservoir. Woah! But I/we did it!
But I was hungry MUNGRY when I got home.

Bloody-Mouth Tiger Skirt

I found this skirt at a Good Will in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I got it shortened a few inches. It's was one of those finds that make you feel so good about the hunt. The hunt for sweet vintage goodness. In about a month I'll be in Arkansas and I'm going to find some hot stuff. I just know it!


It was pretty nasty & rainy today, so no bicycles were ridden.


Man! I went to one of my favorite places - Claire's Boutique! - after work. I got some important stuff. Really important heart-shaped, cheap jewelry and denim-look leggings to cover my skanky bruised legs. I'll post pics soon because Claire's sells such high-class wonderful stuff. But seriously, it's awesome stuff! If you look really hard and at every single item. it's a "leave no stone un-turned" situation.

In Skinny Girl News - Cutting way back on dairy, without really thinking about it - has been pretty successful. It's only been like, a week, but whatever. It's a good test. Almond Milk is rad. Rad, rad, rad!

Matt makes oatmeal almost every day and sometimes he leaves an outrageously messy mess or funky pan and I want to stab him, but lately I've been eating some of it. This breakfast went to work with me and it was something I thought I should "write home" about.

Irish oatmeal with mashed up berries, honey and VEGGIE SAUSAGE! The veggie sausage is what turned it into a bowl of solid GOLD.


I went to the gym tonight. I did some serious business there. 3 miles of running on the tread and a few weights. The weight-room is over-run with guys who care way too much, so I don't make any eye-contact, I wear a hat and I keep my head-down and get the hell out of there!

Matt was trying to go to sleep, but he woke up to check out the $10 t-shirts and $20 sweatshirts on the Claw Money sale, so get into it! Power, Money, Sex for the whole family!
