Haircut Inspiration Bits + Drawing

I've got a BIG hair appointment this weekend. -And this post is random as hell.

I made a sketch of what I might like for it to look like. I might need a track so it can be big in the back.
Haircut Sketch

Yesterday my hair was fine. My makeup was fantastic.
Looked cute on Wed.
My skin is breaking necks right now. I can't explain, but I'm using Pond's Cold Cream and Olay moisturizer.

I had dinner  a small pile of lettuce & booze at The Standard Grill, with a friend.
We went to Hogs & Heiffers and it's weird that people always want to take me to dirty New York City bars, not realizing the dirty bars in New York are like all the bars in Arkansas. (Where I'm from.)

This was my Wednesday outfit. I had to get to work early. This top is one of my new Gap ultra-clearance specials.

And Outdoor- The faux fur is my Arkansas Thrift Christmas-time trophy piece.

And I organized my makeup Tuesday night, and inventoried my lipsticks and I'm grounded from buying any new lipsticks for a LONG TIME.
Tidy

I want this look so bad.

The rope on that hat slays me. I could probably fix up rope & tassle charms on my own.

Thursday - Brown Buttons

Thursday I got dressed really fast and sometimes that works out really well and sometimes it's the hottest of messes. This was a good time. This is a free/sample sweater from work thrown over a tank-top (for trying on more sweaters at work) and super high waist jeans because I had just had a conversation with someone about ultra-high-waisted jeans. I LOVE 'EM!
Thursday Business
But at any rate- didn't expect this outfit to be a hit, but it was. Tons of compliments.

Thursday I wore...
I love how the background of this photo looks. It's a new spot (for me) in the southern-most part of Central Park. The light is so different now with the season change, so I'm on a learning curve. But I love these tree silhouettes. Maybe I just miss nature.

Thursday bike shoes
This was the first time I've worn these Charlotte Russe booties that I wear in BLACK all the time. I just realized it's a habit for me to find cheap, awesome shoes and then buy them in black & brown for maximum usefulness. I like that strategy.

Thursday evening panda

I love these old-school-style brown buttons. I think my mom had some clothes with buttons just like these. I'm also it's cool enough for me to rock my GLOVES! These are my Claire's Boutique $8.50 driving gloves.

Orange Floral Dress - Then & Now

Today: The work look. Faux Denim-Look Leggings were a hit, and I was loud & proud telling people I got them at Claire's Boutique. Summer of Cheap! Great for Bicycle riding.
6/8 Outfit

Matt took these pics right after I got home from work. I took off my bicycle flip-flops and put the high-heel platform booties back on. I feel like I look pretty fresh for bicycle commuting and working a full, busy day.
6/8 Outfit

I've only worn this tunic/dress once before as a dress in Miami for New Year's Eve with the PF gang.

CHECK OUT my Buy 1 Get 1 for $10 CHARLOTTE RUSSE Choices. I *think* I might be able to ride the bicycle in Wedges.

I like the bows on these. And I have so many printed summer dresses - I needed a not too fancy - fancy black summer shoe:

SUMMER OF CHEAP! There is only one Charlotte Russe in Manhattan and I've never had the patience to try on shoes there. (I've never been waited on or felt like spending the night waiting and fighting for a spot to try on) I just checked out the quality, fabrics, etc., then came home and ordered the ones I wanted online. They were factory fresh and available in my size - 8. Sometimes shopping in Manhattan is too much like a full-contact sport.
