Driven by the Greed
Today I wore my L.A.M.B. high-top Minnehana sneakers (that I deeply regret not additionally buying in the other color way.) I've also got on my new, super-star thrifted (in Arkansas of course) faux fur jacket. It's from "My Favorite Thrift Store" on JFK in North Little Rock.
In the below video Gwen is talking about her collection that showed in September and stole my heart.
She says she's "Driven by the greed to make cute clothes for myself."
I agree for myself, but my version is about Thrifting: I am driven by the greed to thrift all the cute clothes for myself!
This is my total commuter look:
I only took one shot on self-timer. I had to open the door at work this morning. Can't be late!
It was 28ยบ - Looks and feels this cold.
I'm careful not to run up on these.
I'm being good and taking my social life easy during these dreary times. If I put my nose to the grindstone, maybe when I look up it will be spring. And maybe I can get one of those L.A.M.B. butterfly print dresses!

Pee-Wee Wednesday
After-work Food & Beer with a new set of couple-friends. (Cool, young, uptown peeps are hard to find, but I found some good ones!)
Then we all went to see the Pee Wee Herman Broadway Show!!!
It was really precious and I'm so glad we went. I was anxious that I would miss it because there are too many activities this month and it ends soon. Pee-Wee was really sweet. Cherry and Jambi played big parts. Cowboy Curtis's horse, Ginger, STOLE MY HEART BIG TIME! She is so gorgeous! I could never have dreamed of such a gorgeous horse-puppet.
This outfit was a good mix of textures. I didn't have socks on, and that was completely dumb of me, but I survived. I took these pictures at not even the end of the day, but the end of the night.
Faux Fur, leather patches, sequins, little bump-studs, fake keds, jeans, faux-fur ear muffs.
My eyes! I was sooo tired. These ear-muffs saved my life today.
My cold feet/ankles! But these shoes are comfy. Even if my stuff was froze off. I was still skippin' in my skippies.
The shoes I started my day in hurt me, so I put these on. These have been living in my desk and I wear them sometimes at work but they were meant to stay AT work.

Bicycle Outfit + Faux Fur Coat I Need!
It's August-Muggy-Hot-Sticky today. It was uncomfortably sticky bicycle riding. I knew to represent Summer of Cheap I needed to take the pic so you can see my cheap-o Charlotte Russe wedges being badass on the bicycle.
I got a punch of love right in the gut today in the September Marie Claire.
I want this FAUX-Fur Coat SO BAD! I think it's really close to my hair color. Don't care. I will change my hair color. This. will. be. mine.
I will look like Little Edie Beale gone wild riding my bicycle in this!

Sometimes trouble...
I had an at-home eBay photo shoot yesterday and got in BIGS trouble with Flickr. They emailed me threatening to delete my account! I have about 12,000 photos in my Flickr account. That shit getting deleted would be DEVASTATING. I immediately begged them not to and deleted all my eBay photo shoot pics. And pulled my auctions that I worked so hard on.
Except for this one...
And this one...
Silly! They were going to delete me for using Flickr in conjunction with eBay. Flickr is not for commercial use! Even though I pay an annual fee to upload all the pics I want to it. Damn! I was really scared.
It was like 40 degrees today! I still rode my bike. I rode because I'm too stubborn to get on the bus... unless I really must.
I wore faux-fur and I was fine.
Except for this one...
And this one...
