Pale Girl Dark Roots

I'm on gradual self-tanner, I swear.
I got in on that dirty-dark roots and bleached out ends craze and that process looked like this:



I like it! My real roots are going to bust into these new, fake roots. It's totally dark in the back.


Getting to work today looked like this- Target dress. Threw the detachable straps in the trash - Big mistake. Bow belt from H&M. Charlotte Russe flip-flops that are on their last... breath... Kate Spade bow necklace. 


All of my stuff has a bow on it right now so I need to take a break from them and get back to hearts. 

Firsts and Bows and Bows and Bows

First morning commute. With my new Linus Dutchie whose name is not yet determined.

A favorite photo spot in Central Park, as you may recognize. 


First trip to the shop that received me and my mangled Schwinn on Friday. They approved of this bicycle and got me our first basket. This is the same Wald basket my Schwinn Cream had.

The only thing my guy at City Bicycle said about my new bike situation, was that it was dangerous for me to ride around with all that crap hanging on my handlebars.

First outdoors in New York City lock-up spot! This is maybe 45th Street near Times Square. I wanted to pop-in to Forever 21. The massive one.


It's so hot now that I could not stand one more ride with all my bags on the handlebars.
Misery guiding it and Misery knees scraping the bags. Glad I went with this little basket again! She's cheap! And it works well with bungees. I put 2 bags plus my shopping bag in there for my ride home tonight.

More bows on the Linuses first ride (and my personal second) over the Williamsburg Bridge into Brooklyn.



I think I'm going to take me and my new bike on a date this weekend so we can bond.

How I take my self-timer pics

This morning my normal self-timer spot was very busy, so I found a new one on the fly and thought I would show you how I take all these pics of myself all by myself.

I spotted this fountain. It's at a good height to hold my camera.


Then I set the camera on the edge.


Then I go stand in front of that shit.


I've got some new sandals that I got at Walmart in Kansas for $3! THREE DOLLARS.

The tank is from walmart too. $3.88 -The print is kind of too much for a girl of 31, so I threw on the vest at work so I wouldn't frighten the older people with all this neon leopard on my chest.

Ooh! Here's my new Kate Spade necklace I got through an online sample sale.

This is also what my hair is doing right now. I think this is a pretty good representation of my natural hair color BTW.

See my shiny skin? My make-up boyfriend told me that this summer he doesn't want anyone to wear powder. Don't fight the shine! You can't beat it, so why try? He also said "Lashes not liner" And coral lip.

I put on my helmet this morning then realized the ride would be more pleasant with a coral lip.


And it was!

Charlotte Russe Fabric Bow Wedges - A+

I did the Buy 1 Get 1 $10 at Charlotte Russe last week. I'm VERY satisfied with this pair of fabric strap wedges with a bow at the ankle.

This is a repeat outfit but this pic is all about these cute, comfy shoes! They stayed on very well and they were extraordinarily comfortable, especially to be strappy.



This is and was a bicycle outfit. FYI. I did wear shorty American Apparel bicycle shorts underneath.
