sequin cardi - so fall
Uggghhh... my hair is so big and crazy I'm just looking the other way most days and putting pins or a headband in/on it.

My camera eyelids are still messy but this guy's trees all got messed-up in our freak snow storm so they chopped 'em down. He's all alone but it's kinda pretty being all open.
He's all alone!
pretty leaves time

I'm really happy about this!
Chrimmas decor!
I'm not thrilled that my evening commutes are guaranteed to be in the dark, but the leaves have fallen and the temps aren't too cold so you get some great lights & skyline views that were hidden away behind the leaves in Central Park.

Bike Style Tips for Cooler Temps

Just in case you didn't know me last winter - We are going to ride this bitch all 12 months.
We may not ride when the snow is falling, but we will ride when the temps get crazy low.

Last winter I could not believe myself when I discovered my threshold for cold. I basically don't have one. I have faux furs, scarves, gloves, clear glasses, etc.
I do draw the line for cold + wind or cold + condensation falling.

But as long as it's DRY I can ride because I'm prepared.

Let me give details because my winter bike accessories are pretty affordable.
Clear glasses from Vans and many others from Claire's Boutique. -Yes, the Claire's for 12 year old girls. And me.
My driving gloves are also from Claire's.

So Yellow!

Yellow! Leaves Be Yella'
The leaves were so yellow! Yellow leaves instead of little yellow price stickers in my hair!
I couldn't resist this vibrant spot in Central Park, yet again, to take the self-timer outfit pics. Taking pics after work is not happening b/c it's dark by then. Morning is the way. ...The way to capture this pale-ness!
Thursday I had on little Nike running shorts under this skirt for bicycle commuting confidence. The boots are totally cool to ride in.

Fall, slow down please. Thank you!

Friday I wore...

It's a little too close to November for salmon pink fake keds with no socks but a pretty, classy, older lady in the elevator went crazy for them so that made me feel nice about this choice. She looked great and she wanted to show me the fabric she had just purchased. It was a beautiful rich, pink plaid tweed. She was going to make herself a coat. I wanted her to take me home with her, and make me a matching little coat.

Friday morning was gorgeous.

This H&M Leopard Fur - FAKE of course! Is super-warm. It made me sweat but I know it looks fun when I'm riding the bicycle down the street, so I have to be tough and just open up the front. It was $19.99. That feels good. And it has good pockets.

Today, Monday, I noticed the banners for the NYC Marathon are up and they've begun to assemble the bleachers and it's 2 weeks away. Oh, fall, you need to slow down!
