Sorpresa Sack

I'm going to Arkansas for Christmas and instead of choosing things for individual friends and family, I'm making a Sorpresa Sack. The Sorpresa Sack contains things I want! Some things I may have purchased in duplicate: One for you, One for me! Each recipient gets to choose an item from the sack and the items won't be wrapped. They can see it and try stuff on.

Tonight I got the Sorpresa Sack party started at Forever 21.

Ooh wait - I realized today that I rode my bicycle to and from work every single day in November! Awesome! That's the first solid month of bicycle commuting. Luckily it didn't rain that much because today, December 1st, I did not ride due to sideways rain & wind. It had been so long that I was actually a little excited to board this bus this morning. Mostly happy because my iPod has so much new music in it that I haven't even had a chance to experience.

But not riding is kind-of bad, because I'm on foot and I'm way too close to way too many fun stores, and after being cooped up at work I just want to play. I was walking, walking, being good, heading home, walking, walking, BOOM! Forever 21. I go to the fucking huge one in Times Square. Even when I feel like I'm being quick- I'm in there an hour.

Discoveries- They have a little children's section. Got my little family peeps some t-shirts that were too cute to leave behind. I know 2 little girls who are getting "Smart is the New Black" tshirts.

I also discovered there is a fake American Apparel section in there now and I got this extremely useful shirt for $5.50 and a Smokin' Hot Pink basic bra for under $5.










































































I ALSO purchased our PEE-WEE on Broadway tickets today on my lunchbreak. I went to see if there was a crafty box-office deal, and there wasn't really, so I just got 'em. It's gonna be a double-date and we've been going back and forth to make the plan because everyone is so busy now, so I got the tickets to keep the plan solid!

It's going to be Matt's first ever Broadway show and he's even in an agreeable mood about going!

Blog Housekeeping

I updated my About Me page with an explanation of what I actually do at this workplace where I'm always riding my bicycle to these days.

Today I wore an easy, repeater outfit.  Went to Bed Bath & Beyond after work, (but it was a bust,) and now I'm in bed watching Maddow who I went to see Sunday night. I did a good job on my make-up! I was happy to escape our construction zone apartment!
YSL Mascara - Someone GAVE ME their tube because they tried it once and hated it. Score, me!

I'm wearing a Nude Viva Glam but I don't know which number. The nude one. That looks like Barbie skin.

Maddow was absolutely precious as usual. I don't think she would appreciate my calling her "precious" but she's precious to me! I couldn't tell what brand her sneakers were, but she had on some ill-fitting Levi's.

2 boys in line in front of me started BASHING the upcoming Pee Wee's Playhouse Broadway show, because there was a big poster for it above the line we were waiting in. Luckily, a handsome young man behind me spoke up and he and I started having a lovely conversation about how we can't wait to see it. I even already did the research and know that the cheapest seats for the Pee Wee B'Way show will run me about $70. Don't care!
