Friday night Emily and I camped out for Shakespeare in the Park tickets. We got there around 12:30am on Friday night - Saturday morning. I think it was Bonnie's first cab ride. One of my partners was drunk and my 2 partners were Emily & Bonnie. Bonnie is a dog. But being drunk helps you pass out and sleep on the sidewalk on Central Park West. Central Park West is a street. We were sleeping outside of Jerry Seinfeld's apartment building.
At 6am all the campers can move into the actual Park where the grass and bathroom and floutists are. A guy started playing a fucking FLUTE next to our sleeping heads at 11am. Not OK, Man!
We were successful in getting tickets. I ate some bad things - I ate a bacon, egg and YELLOW cheese from a Deli. These circumstances make it OK to fall off your diet - Street Camping.
After the tickets were passed out at 1pm, Matt helped me carry our stuff home then we washed ourselves and went to see this little photography exhibition at Sotheby's. I go to things at Sotheby's because I live right by Sotheby's. But it's fun to go see fancy things. There were Ansel Adams' POLAROIDS! They were the best-quality polaroids I've ever seen. I love learning new matting/mounting techniques and I got an eye-ball full. Looking at nature photos made me and Matt desperately sleepy after street-camping so we took a nap.
Saturday night we got ready for Shakespeare in the Park which is lovely because it's BYOB and BYOF- Food! We brought Beer & Junk Food and rode the bus over there. High. Class.
Sunday I went to the beach in the Bronx with the cutest girl with the sweetest heart who is immediately who I think of when you think of things or people you would fetch 1st from a burning building.

This is the BRONX, people. The Bronx has nature and Yankee Stadium AND Target! This looks like Arkansas. And North Carolina. And any old forest pretty much. Public Transportation got us to this place. New York City transit will put you here for $2.25 on your MetroCard.

Sunday night a good friend popped-in on us and it was fun to catch up (mostly gossip.) The best. Matt fixed fish tacos and stayed up way beyond his bedtime.
This week I need to get ready for travels to my mother-land, Arkansas. I am also excited for our apartment sitters to have a really good time while they stay here and babysit Bonnie dog.
A girl who is a baseball fanatic is coming to stay all week and her mom, who has never been to New York City is coming for part of the time. I love that!
