I will be there! I'm working on a t-shirt idea (but I'm also on vacation this weekend) But I will represent at the Community Board 8 meeting bike t-shirt or not. I'm going to the Board 8 Meeting because I'm a resident and a registered voter up in that piece.

We need your help to extend the bike lanes on First and Second Avenue. The Department of Transportation is presenting a plan to extend these bike lanes to East Harlem at the Transportation Committee meetings of Community Boards 8 and 11 next week (details below). If you live on the East Side between 59th and 96th Streets, please come to Community Board 8's meeting. If you're on the East Side above 96th Street, please come to Community Board 11's meeting. Residents' support for these projects is crucial.
If you don't live in either district, we need your help to get the word out to your contacts on the Upper East Side and in East Harlem. It is vital for residents to be a part of this discussion.
As you know, there is tremendous community support along the entire length of the East Side for continuous protected bike lanes and pedestrian safety islands—from Houston to 125th Street.
