Crafting in the Name of College Pride

We are going to an all you can eat and drink (Abita Beer!!!) Crawfish Boil this weekend at a pretty cool restaurant venue on the Hudson. I don't know if we'll ride bikes, but wander our drunk asses across Central Park back to our apartment.

It will not be the first time I've peed in Central Park either!

It's an LSU Alumni Assoc. sponsored event so I wanted to represent in some Henderson State University gear as my husband and I are proud alumni of this teeny-tiny public liberal arts college in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

But I can't just wear a normal-cut t-shirt!

This is an animated gif. but I bet it doesn't work. Where do animated gifs even work anymore! Why did I even go to college other than to learn how to make animated gifs?!

Feeling the PMc Love

Something special that happened to us on Fashion's Night Out was being asked if we could be photographed by a Patrick McMullan freelance photographer. Getting on patrickmcmullan.com is a treat and my previous showings were solely because of my job at PF, which is a thing of the past.

I paid to buy a hard-copy for each of us and break us out of watermark jail.

It is a whole experience of goodness, because you are approached, asked politely, and then the photographer snaps a bunch of quick shots. Then you speak your name into a teeny little recording device and spell the hard parts. Then you wait nervously for your photo to appear on the website which is full of fancy celebrity parties.

Wikipedia states: The Patrick McMullan photo collection is one of the largest topical photo archives of famous, living people in existence.

(The initial photos from our event - CH Carolina Herrera flagship opening, special guest Christina Hendricks - appeared overnight... me and Katie took about 72 hours to appear. I'm just happy we made the cut!)
